Tragic morning in Kozhikode: 2 die as speeding KSRTC bus rams into car | Video

Kozhikode: Two Tamil Nadu natives were killed when a KSRTC bus collided with a car in the wee hours of Friday in Kozhikode.

The accident occurred at 12.30 am at Gandhi Road junction.

The deceased, who were traveling in the car, have been identified as Pradeep Kumar and Amarnath who are natives of Velur, Tamil Nadu. Murukanandan, who was also in the car with the duo, has been admitted to Kozhikode Medical College Hospital with injuries.

The KSRTC bus that was traveling from Kozhikode to Iritti, rammed into the mid portion of the car, pushed it as far as 10 meters ahead before pulling the brakes.

The locals had to break open the door of the vehicle to take the bodies out.
