Happy Onam! Mamata Banerjee greets Keralites

West Bengal and Kerala always share a special bond when it comes to food, clothing and politics. Keeping the festive spirit, West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee made sure that she wishes Keralites.

Mamata, in a tweet, extended her Onam greetings to Malayalis across the world. She had also posted a picture of 'pookkalam' (floral carpet) as well as Onasadya (Onam feast) and wished all Keralites a happy Onam.

Earlier in 2012, she had posted a picture of Thiruvathira and greeted everyone on Onam.
